Ludhiana Police Launches Cybercrime Awareness Calendar to Promote Internet Safety

The calendar was created by the Raj Kumar team of ACP (cybercrime), in accordance with the instructions given by ADCP (headquarter) Rupinder Kaur Bhatti and Commissioner of Police Kuldeep Singh Chahal. District police on Friday introduced a thorough cybercrime awareness calendar to inform locals about the dos and don’ts of internet safety in response to growing worries about cybercrime.

The ACP (cybercrime) Raj Kumar team created the calendar in accordance with the instructions given by ADCP (headquarter) Rupinder Kaur Bhatti and Commissioner of Police Kuldeep Singh Chahal.

The cybercrime awareness calendar is a helpful visual aid that emphasises the critical safety measures people need to take in the digital era. ACP Raj Kumar underlined the significance of educating local people about the possible hazards involved with online activity, noting the need to expand cyber safety education beyond students.

According to him, the calendar offers information on a number of cyber safety-related topics. It addresses issues including safe online conduct, spotting phishing attempts, safeguarding personal data, and social media usage and practices. The programme is a component of the larger attempt by the Ludhiana police to make sure that the community is knowledgeable and prepared to use the internet safely.

While the city police’s cyber division has been actively holding awareness seminars for kids, Kumar said that there is an urgent need to expand the education to include the whole city’s population. He stressed the value of the calendar as a convenient reference guide and provided helpful advice for preventing cyberattacks.

Police Commissioner Kuldeep Singh Chahal praised ACP Raj Kumar’s and the group’s efforts in making the calendar. He emphasised the value of cyber education for the whole community and expressed optimism that the programme will help lower the number of cybercrime occurrences that occur in the region.
